Pro Comp Tires

Anyone have any advice or opinions, even criticism; good or bad, on Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires?

VERY expensive... other than that, I have had no real experience with them.

They cost alot, don't have a very attractive look, very little tread coming over the sidewall....like the BFG's or a comparable tire with side biter type treads, and that can be a bad thing in some situations.

I've never had them, but a guy who pulled me out had them, and I didn't think they did so well.

After seeing my buddys jeep with them in the mud..Ide NEVER buy procomps. Hes locked frotn and rear and was in about 8 inches of mud. The tires caked up so bad, it was like he was on ice. They turned to huge choclate donuts. He does have the older style, and they have since been redesighned. But for the price, its not worth the gamble for me. GoodYear MTRs of BFG MTs are what to look at IMHO

I have a set of 33 x 12.5 XTerrain Tires. BEST TIRE I HAVE EVER OWNED

I've had both BFG's Mud Terrains, and a set of Mickey Thompson Baja's,

Thread Depth is Awesome, they clean out Great in the mud, awesome on the Rocks, and preform well on road and highway. Great wearing tire so far.

Well worth the money IMHO! And at this point the only tire I will run.

I'm running a set of 265/75 M/T. Very impressive on-road manner and average road noise comparing to other M/T's. Excellent in muddy surface. I'd say very similar to BFG M/T (my previous set) but better than Mickey Thompson, IMO.

I got them cheap out of eBay for $400 shipped. So, can't blame much.
