Parnelli Jones All Terrain Tires?
I'm going to pick up some tires this evening from some guy off craigslist. They are described 285/75/16 Parnelli Jones All Terrains with 75% for $125. I am going to mount them on my 5-Spoke 16" wheels (from a limited). Should I have any fitment issues, I think I can live with minor rub? Also, I couldn't find any info on the A/T's, just the Dirt Grips, anybody hear anything good about these? The guy said they are similar to the BFGs.

I'm pretty sure the 285s won't fit. The largest you can run without a lift is 265/75/16. I personally have never heard of that particular tire, but that doesn't mean its not a quality tire. Also why are you getting tires, i see you have your rig for sale in your sig?

Parnelli Jones ha a really really sweet tire! i'm talking about really nice, my uncle had some on his Dodge Ram, and he was going to give them to me but i did not have 17" wheels to support them at the time, and he wanted to sell them, so i couldnt get them.

Minor rub? Judging from your sig, you don't have a lift, correct? If so, you will rub like crazy.
His tires are probably shot right now, and doesn't want to spend $3-400 on new tires since he's selling soon.

you'll need wheel spacers or different upper control arms. and they will still rub on your running boards and front bumper fascia. they will also rub on the frame at full lock. in short there will be alot of scrubbing.

don't do wheel spacers it will look like crap considering you'd need about an inch or more to clear. if your handy with tools you can dismount your uca's and shave them with a grinder, this is the same thing steve sells over at sonoran steel. aftermarket arms start at about 500 a pair, so considering you're buying used tires i doubt your wallet, or you, wants to compensate for new arms. save the money and buy a lift...or if you are selling it get some other pos wheels and save those for your next one!
