I've been reading that a lot of guys here fit 32x11.5's on their 2nd gen Runners without any rubbing issues. BUT, I went to a local tire shop and took took some measurements with one of the techs working there and he was saying that it looked like 32's would probably rub without a lift. Can anyone give me any advise on this? Because I was under the impression that 32's on OEM offset 8 wheels would fit no problemo.
My ride is a 95 rwd with Rancho 9000's and cranked torsion bars. Any help on this is appreciated because I want to buy tires in the next couple days. Here's my Runner and the wheels I'm putting on soon. If you can't tell from the pic, there's no sag in the rear. Edit: I'm riding on 265/70 16's right now

This is an IFS (independent front suspension) thread. You have a 1 gen pickup that has leaves. With that said I posted an answer in your other thread. Good looking pickup btw
I see everyone asking about if it fits, I installed bf g ko2 33x10.5 on my 4runner and they fit perfectly. I did trim the fender liner seen in picture. As far as drivability I have noticed it's just as slow as normal with the 3L v6. I use the 4runner for hunting and getting into the back woods and some small off roading adventures. It makes all the same creaks and groans as before with small tires. Overall I would say the 33x10.5 is a great choice.
235/75s will rub a lot on a stock 2wd suspension, mine did. 215 or 225/75 will probably be the max on a 15'' wheel but even then you might have to do some trimming and pound the pinch weld flat.
but if its your daily driver and you dont plan on going off road, and you still have the 14'' factory wheels then i would go with a these. they are 27x8.50x14.
I have a 96 TWD 3.4 T100 SR5 with stock suspension and I have 235/75/15 on it with no rubbing problems at all. You may want to check around to see if yours is the same ride height and clearance as the 96. As I said I have no problems at all with the 235/75/15's under mine. Hope this helps you out. Good luck.
Anyone know If id have problems going to 15 inch rims on a 4wd T100. Currently have 16s but im concerned about rubbing brake caliper or something.
for instance, 15s off a 2wd T100 or Taco?
not concerned abt tires. Probably doing 31s and I know they will fit.

I bought this 94 DLX 3.0L AT about a month ago, and it had 30x9.5x15 tires. OEM was 225/75/15, but the axle ratio is 4.56. Everything I've read here and elsewhere says it can accommodate 31x10.5x15 just fine, but every online tire store says "This Doesn't Fit Your Vehicle." Just looking for confirmation that the people on this site are right and the websites are wrong.
Now that my runner is running mint, its time to lift but i want to keep it as a daily and wanted a quick and cheap way to fit 33x10.50 r15 or x12.5 i want a temporary body lift like 1-2" or should i just wait for a good suspension lift? Currently a 1993 sr5 4runner completely stock height with 30x9.5
And what should i do for a first timer? I have heard of using 80 series landcruiser coils to lift the rear up im just wondering how i can lift the front and rear and fix the rear end sag in the process.

I bought an 87 4rummer with a decent lift about a year ago. I have 33x13.5r15 superswampers on 15x8 rims (no rub)
. I am using truck as a fun family camping, mild off road type of vehicle. My guess is 80% will be pavement driving. Tires are shot and need to be replaced. I like the look of the Toyo AT III that I have seen. I don't need the 13.5 tire and was thinking about going to 12.5. Toyo doesn't offer in this size. Only the M/T version. While I like that aggressive look, I don't like the $300+ aggressive price. I've done some research and think I know what to stay away from. I'm thinking AT, but the next best thing not Toyo. Any suggestions?

Im sure you thought about the ko2s, not sure if they come in that size. Cooper makes really good tires and they have a wide selection. I love the st max they make but theyre pricey. I have the wildpeak falkens on one of my toys- great at tread, sidewall protection and price.
What's the current go to for 14" rims. Hoping to avoid having to buy rims and looking for a decently dirt road worthy designed tire. Current size on the truck is 205/75R14 and I'm finding mostly trailer tires and one or two car tires.

Good luck. 14" rim size is pretty much done. Sadly, new rims may be the only way to get tires.
Have a 94 Toyota pickup with a 2-3 inch old man emu lift. Truck is sitting on 31-10.5-15s. Rubs a tiny amount when suspension is fully flexed out on the front end and tire is turned all the way

Sounds normal. You could try wheel spacers, but that creates new issues. You could also do a long arm kit that would space your wheels farther apart, they look funny to me, but if your off-road who cares. otherwise just crank out your bump stops until the rubbing stops.
