be careful with some 15" wheels might rub the brake calipers. I think your year might be Ok. I currently run a 265 75 16 with no issues. You said youre on a budget so check 265 70 16's on craigslist or ebay. They are usually a little cheaper if you want to save some $

If 33x12.50s and 86 IFS were two sticks you would have this

31x10.50x15 is a good tire size for a stocker. I had 285/75/16s and a 2" body lift on an 87 4Runner I picked up and it was major rubbage when off-road.

They won't fit without a lift or substantial trimming of the body. 33x10.5r15s will fit though, without any modifications (but you'll want to regear).

Before everyone else rips you to shreds for posting a question that has been posted literally in the hundreds of times (not joking), promise to try the search function before posting a question.

Some suggestions including a link to a '94 pickup running that size tire with a mild lift:

All that "bullsnot" would probably answer any other questions you have. Take the time to look through some of that, who knows, you may find that others like a different size tire for a vehicle similar to yours.

whats the biggest tire for an 89 4runner with no lift? I don't have money for a lifft, or knowledge on how to install it. Would just like some bigger tires. I have a stock 89 4Runner. heres a link to it. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f77/.../#post51066997

Thanks for your help.

No trimming? 33x9.5 or 32x11.5.
Trimming? Whatever you want, i've seen 36's.
BTW, a Body lift is much cheaper than tires...

35's with no lift?

ok, i'm turning my truck into a trail rig, i'm lookin at new tires. right now i'm lookin at 33x10.50 boggers and 34x10.50 ltb's, i no these will fit with a little pounding/trimming. i was wondering about a 35x10.50 bogger. the body cutting is not an issue at all, i will cut to fit but i was wondering about turning and rubbin on stuff? i dont wanna do an ifs lift and i have no need for a sas cuz this truck will mostly see just muddy trails and 4wheeler paths, this isnt gonna be my dd anymore like it is now so i wanna run an aggressive tire but i need a bigger tire but i dont wanna lift it cuz i heard stock ifs works better than lifted. i will also be runnin a rear locker and have a winch on the front and it'll be geared for the tires. anyone have any experience with what i'm talkin about? haha thanks for input

i was able to fit 33x12.50 on a 83 and a 88 p/u the 83 is a sa and the 88 is a ifs i had no rubbing when turning. i think you should be fine as long as you stick with a 10.50 also even with cutting the fenders and hammering on the body my 88 had a little fender loving with the top of the tire on a couple of dips. that was with 33s.
