Mickey Thompson baja claw radials

Hey all I just got a deal on 4 new Mickey Thompson Baja Claw radials. 33x12.5-15 with zero wear for $400. Has anyone run these tires before? I drive a lot on the street. Will they just wear out over night? I really like the way they look and I will try to get a pic posted once they are mounted.

I just bought a set for my Tacoma a while back. You can see em here. The same weekend I bought a set of BFG M/T's for Runner. The Tacoma sees just a few more miles than the Runner but the tires show twice the wear. No cupping yet which is something I was expecting as my Swampers cup'd bad. For 400 bonz you can't go wrong man. I'd snag em up!!! They get good traction in sand and mud but lack in slickrock and chatty trails. They also lack sideways traction and tend to slide in muddy off camber situations. That can raise the pucker factor 10 fold in a hurry! I bought em for street tires cause at the time I had a set of 34" LTB's for wheelin' but I've sold those to buy my daughter an ATC70 so I've ended up wheelin' em. I've wheeled em hard twice and they show plenty of scars cuts and gouges so I really don't have as much confidence in em as Swampers for "wheelin" but for street they do pretty well and are alot quiter than I'd thought they'd be. Not all that good in wet traction (but not any worse then the BFG M/T's) and it hasn't snowed since I've bought em.

Hope it helps. Again, with little wear and for 400 bonz.....get em.

Cool good to hear about the tires. I really like the way they look . I had them in some sand this evening and they do slide around quite a bit, but I'm used to it from racing. How many miles do you think these tires will go? I have driven about 27000 miles so far this year. I hope they last one year.
