Interco vs BFG: treadwear
How does the Interco TSL/Radial compare to the BFG M/T in tread life?

Hmm, looks like the BFG's are my best bet, just found this:

Quite an interesting read btw..

just be careful with the BFGs... they are more prone to irregular treadwear than other tires, keep them balanced and rotated, and keep your front end aligned

well I don't need that, at the price a set of MTs go for. I bought my wife some tires for her car for about $350... man that would be nice.

I got some 32x10.5 BFG M/T's with good tread(30-40%)left but rotten sidewalls.
I also have some 36x14.5 TSL Radials with little tread(15-20%)left and nearly perfect sidewalls still.
Them's my observations, hope it helps.

Bfg Vs Ss
I had some 35 BFG muds, great tire, loved them , buy them. I currently run 36" Super's Radials, they feel better on the rocks at 8 PSI, I love the eraser affect. If you want to run em on the road 'alot' then go with the BFG's. If its a rockl rig go with a softer compound ( BFG does make a softer compound$).
The above is just an opinion and trials, for facts consult someone else.

I don't know if I would say I am on the road alot, maybe sometimes. I drive to work and back.. about 2 miles each way, and run errands, my wife doesn't like to drive if she doesn't have to, so we usualy take the truck wherever. Otherwise I am on the trails, in search of rocks.. they been doing logging so alot of the trails have been grated (ruined) or closed
Most likely I will go with BFG due to my street driving, I'm not terribly worried about the sidewalls with Discount Tire's warranty. The way I look at is, if I kill a sidewall, I get a brand new tire for like $30. I've gotten about 3 new tires in the last couple years for almost nothing thanks to damaged sidewalls!
edit: ^ makes it hard for me to upgrade from my current POS tires when they keep givin me new ones!
