Goodyear wrangler silent armor?
don't mean to start another huge tire thread, but was wondering if those of you running the wrangler silent armor are as happy with them as tirerack seems to be. they seem to have made a splash the last 6 months or so that they've been out.
got a fair price locally, considering a set based on their winter ratings and noise level. feedback would help. thanks.

I've heard from a few people that showed a drop in their mpgs since they are probably a bit heavier than what you are replacing due to them having actual armor in them.

If you're looking for road tires, I can't hesitate to suggest the Michilin LTX M&S. I had a set on my GMC z71 that got 93,000 miles and were still good tires with at least 15,000 miles left on them when I sold the truck. They wore evenly within 1/32" all the way across every tire. I rotated the tires ONCE during that 93,000 miles.
I have the same type on my toyota now 225 75 r15 and they are very quiet and handle great, I hope they last as long os the previous pair did.
