First mudding with Bridgestone Dueler REVOS

So I was driving home to KC from central Kansas and I pass this "historical marker" well I didn't feel like hanging out with my girlfriend at home so I went back to check it out. It turned out to be a autotour rotue of where the Santa Fe trail crossed Kansas so I started following it. Gravel roads with side road of just dirt. Until the tour signs take you on the dirt only road. Well in Kansas City I have no unpaved road so when I continued and found 4wheel drive was NEEDED it was as if 47 christmas monkeys feathered me with blissful entertainment. The road pulled me quite a bet so I had a job not to slide into the ditch. Keep in mind I am in flash flood warning and we had rain for 2 days (heavy)

anyhow the Brigde Revo's are great hiway and mild offroad, but for the mud I now understand why a MTR is made. Don't get me wrong the Revos were predictable they did clean out fine in the crud, but I think my stopping distance was horrible check the pic.

I wanted to stop for the sign, but had to back up quite a bit, I was going 30-35

Dale

FYI: MTR are not mud tires, they're really not that good in mud compared to other options.

What makes them not mud tires? larger spacing of the tread to move/grab the mud. Well if you search MTR many others have info on mud tires.

I thought .. MTR = Mud Terrian Radials

I can't do a MTR because I drive hiway 80%, why did yours not do good in mud?

MT/R is actually Maximum Traction / Reinforced. They aren't great in the mud from what I hear.

The MTRs are far better than an AT but fall short of a true Mud Tire, they don't clean very well. I'm not saying they're a bad tire but I just wanted to clarify that they not an MT.

yall need to chill and ask him if hes talking about the goodyears or any mud tire and he may just call it an MTR.

goodyear mtrs work better in the mud then any A/T but it is the worst mud tire compared to other options in its category

however its the best rock tire in its category too.
