Atypical Tire and Wheel question

I have a set of 10x15 wheels. I know most folks seem to run 33s, but my 88 is basically stock, and I don't want to deal with that size tire. I was looking at 31 x10.5, but I was told it would "look funny."

Can anybody elaborate on what would "look funny"?

the Hawaii truck look of wide rims with small size tires comes to mind.

personally i wouldn't mount a 10.5" wide tire on a 10", 8" max

Thanks dropzone. Had to look up "Hawaii truck look."

Anyway, it's not too bad IMO. I'll look into it some more.

I ran 15x10's with 31x10.50's and it was alright. Doesn't look bad.

Decided to go with 31x10.5 Kenda Klever AT's. They look just fine. In fact, they're the best looking part of my truck!
