I work with a couple of guys that have them, both on 3/4-ton trucks. They get decent enough traction in most conditions, the exception being deep mud or clay-packed forest roads. They seem smoth and quiet enough on the road, but both guys are seeing pretty fast wear...but given the weights of their repsective trucks, I'd say its normal, ~20k miles on a crew cab deisel. I'd say there are better tires out there, unless you are getting a really great deal...

I have a set of General Grabber AP's. I don't know if they changed the tread design and the designation to AT, but I'll tell you a little about mine. They handle great on road. They break loose real easy in the rain and slush. They do however keep up with my brother's BFG A/T's (Not KO's). I don't know if they've changed the tire wear, but mine seem to wearing a little fast.

After having Grabber APs on my Bronco II there's no way I'll go near another General again. Wear sucked, wet traction sucked, allowed too much roll on turns.
No thanks. They were cheap but I'd have been better off spending a little more to get something better.
The AT's look like they have a more square sidewall than the APs and more of an all terrain tread-but not that much more.
