265/70/17 Bridgestone REVO A/T installed (few pics)
Just got some REVO's the other day, and in +1 sizing (265/70/17 vs stock 265/65/17). I have 17" Tundra rims and the stock POS tires were Dunlop AT20's. I went through a mini-snow storm the other weekend, and was slipping and sliding. So to be prepared for the winter, I got the REVO's.
Much like most of the reviews you will read from older threads, these tires are great on the road. They were BARELY (I mean, BARELY) louder than the stock A/S tires. That was with the stereo turned off, and with it on, couldn't hear the tires at all. The ride, I noticed, was a bit stiffer, but nothing neck breaking or uncomfortable. I could feel the bumps a tad bit more.
The question that has gone somewhat unanswered is: Will +1 sizing on stock suspension rub? Answer, NO. Though I don't haven't racked-up of a ton of mileage, I did just go playing in the hills for a few hours. There were various dips and bumps, and some I saw coming, others, I didn't. Through it all, I didn't hear it rub once. I checked all over the wheel well, and there were no marks. I also cranked it on a hard turn, and still no sound or evidence of rubbing. So to those on stock suspension, you're good to go with a bigger size. This should also hold true for the 265/75/16 incher's, as well.
Overall, the tires are great on the road, and does the job off-road--for me, at least. I'm not hardcore like some of you guys. Going through some mud, I did check, and it was caked all over the wheel. A quick WOT on dry ground, of course, cleaned them right up. So if you're going in mud, becareful.

i had to laugh when i read this thread.
my truck came stock w/ 265/75R16's they accually fit the truck very nicely since i have stock suspention, fill out the wheel wells and hold a nice stance. Getting some Procomp Mud Terrains in a few months.
The revos are nice tires though good choice
