Yesterday's July 4th cookout. Broke in the new Weber E-330 gas unit and stoked "old reliable" Weber Performer charcoal grill for duty.
Fresh Alaskan Copper River King salmon with fresh basil, garlic, lemon and EVO smoked over apple wood. Portabella mushroom caps seared and stuffed with griddled onion, zucchini, sundried tomato pesto and toasted pistachios. Corn on the cob. Fresh local strawberries and raspberries over macadamia nut ice cream. Perfect weather and a nice fireworks display at nearby Blue Lake afterward.

Looking good Bob, that is a very nice barbecue.
Been using my new one every night since Saturday.
By the way, that tablecloth and a blue one just like it I use for camping were my parents.
I remember them bringing them camping when we went up to Canada back in the early 70s.
They are at least 40 or more years old, and still in great shape.

Thanks Corey.
Great story about the family heirloom. My tablecloths last about a year before something unplanned retires them, sort of like most of my t-shirts.

One of my Favorite pics.... Lady was just standing there when I drove up and "POP", gotcha, lol. No idea who she is....but you can't see who she is, so I wasn't worried about using it for some other stuff(calendar for friends).....

Taken today at work on the trails that surround our two lakes.
Blackberries are out, and some are quite big, sweet, and juicy.
They will be much better next week, so I am bringing a container to pick some.

Taken at one of my job sites Thursday.
As I was up close they knew it, and they came out the bottom hole and started to chase me away.
This thing was as big as a football.

Unfortunately some dude knocked it down on the ground after we had contacted Orkin to come out and get rid of it.
They were very angry their home had been knocked to the ground.
