Yeah, that looks like the shade I remember it being. Mine did look that nice for a few months I think. I do recall waxing it once. Shoulda took some pics of that. Oh well.
Anyway, we get 1 reliably dry month around here. August. So she's supposed to be getting some new paint in a couple weeks. Color undecided, leaning towards flat olive drab or gloss/semi-gloss black sprayed on myself. We'll see.
Oh, thanks by the way, it's a beauty that mountain. I happened to be up there hunting late one evening and made sure I'd not come home empty handed. That was the best of about a dozens shots in the same spot, the misty haze on the water(far end of the lake)coulda showed up better, no biggy. I ain't a pro, but I got MBs, so that's how I improvise, multiple attempts.

I wish No, actually, I chickened out My husband was driving with a friend in the passenger seat. I was the camera woman lol That hill goes forever. In the picture that tree or stump in the middle of the trail is about half way. Then the trail gets way small, only room for a quad to go the rest of the way up

Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area
Winchester Bay
General
Winchester Bay is the name of the deep sea fishing harbor near this middle section of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (ODNRA). It is about three miles west of Reedsport on Highway 101. These are the some of the best dunes for sandrails or others interested in open sand running. The dunes here are also the highest in the ODNRA.
