95 v6 Automatic 4x4 4.3 swap ???

So I have a 95 v6 automatic 3.0 4x4, and I was thinking of getting a 95 auto s10 blazer 4x4 and using it to do the swap. But I called Northwestoffroad to ask about adapters, and they said that having the automatic is going to be a problem. Is there a way to utilize my tranmission? of If I got a working auto tranny from a blazer (the one in the donor is shot) can I use my tcase? I was told by them id have to do a 4" lift, is this true? is there a way to do this without lifting so high? I've read lots of threads so please don't tell me to go research more. IT seems no one is doing this swap on an automatic v6; they are all manual, or so it seams..

please! I need help

Ive never dealt with northwest off road , but a long time ago i read lots of post's they were over priced and not very good. Call advanced adaptors and look on their web site . You are going to have to fab up a lot of things like cross member , wiring harness , exhaust , fuel lines , motor mounts , new drive lines ..... so can you fab ? If not you will have to buy all that stuff. Not sure if you need a lift to clear the ifs. ask advanced adaptors.
Also if your wanting to strait axle now would be a good time with the motor pulled out . Which 4.3 ? throttle body or cpi ? Tbi has 160 hp , cpi has 190 hp. Are you making a crawler? then you would want the toy 4cyl t case . If not then use the chevy t case with the chevy trans if the t case front out put is on the same side as the toyota and that would save you some $ cause you wouldn't need an adaptor. Everyone i know with 4.3 swaps used the auto trans that came with the motor . Im running a 92 4runner with a 94 4.3 cpi auto transmission with a toy 4cyl t case . I love it but if i were to do it again i would think about the 3.4 a little more. 3.4 is a little more bolt in friendly. Hope this helps a little .

IF you must put a chevy engine in then pick and older throttle body unit like before they went fuel injection.I made the mistake of installing a 2003 4.3 and its the worst smog nightmare you can imagine.every 2 years buying new cats or sensors of some type.I did it for the horse power and it does have that but it also sucks gas like a 2 dollar whore. remember what ever you put in You will be the one who has to debug it and maintain it.You will become the expert.Personally I wished i had hunted down a 22re turbo instead. life would way easier. Best of luck in whichever you install. My adapters were from adavance adapters and wire loom was from Howl.they also re flashed my computer. The early 4.3's only had like 3 sensors to make it work . the new ones have like 7 or more,And they all have to work or smog fail every time. Yes my truck went threw the bar and is ca legal and now they changed the rules on it. If i did it again I would install a 5 speed trans the 4l60 sucks to much power.
