So I got a chance to take the plate steel to the shop this morning , and after $40 this is what I got .

again if your local , this is the place that I took it to.

http://www.robecks.com/

I did take some measurments and made some marks on the steel then had them bend it ..Oh but first I made the same marks on a cardboard and bent that to see what it would look like , Liked it so gave it to them.

it dips 2" at the front and 3" at the back .

Now I need to make some holes and a couple of cuts , then I can install it .

Just wondering why you went with the prerunner adapter instead of the others and what does it mean that you "clocked" it? thanks

clocked means you can rotate the cases a few degrees to get the front driveshaft output up higher, giving you more ground clearance.

Nice. So you were able to get the trans close to the stock location? Did you have to do any drive shaft mods?

Uh yea, nevermind, I missed your post above

tranny was pretty close to stock location but the adapters move the transfer case back and yea had to modify the driveshafts.

so im back to working on this after a few days of relaxation with the kids and wife.

Having the forward shift transfer case, put the shifter right on top of the shifter for the auto automatic , so I had to move the auto shifter forward 2 inches .

ok so Looking at the console and seeing it having a big hole (just the rubber boot ) I didnt like the idea of having a bunch of dirt and stuff just gathering there so i Hacked it up a bit.

OK I picked up some tundra down pipes and modified them a bit and was able to finish the driver side exhasut from the manifolds to the cat.
Hopefully tomorrow I can finish the passanger side and then the rest of the exhaust back , then maybe drive this thing .

OK ,I finished installing the passanger side manifold and cat but am going to take the truck to the exhaust shop so they can finish the job I just cant do it , I am really tired man .

I will have them finish the exhaust from the cats back .

But I did drive the truck for the first time today , truck Idles , its not trying to overheat and the tranny seems to be shifting fine , 4x4 works so , so far so good .

I still have a million small things to finish but hopefully this week I can get them all done and maybe take the truck to hollister next weekend and try it out.

anyway here is a couple of crappy videos from today.
