do you have the COR relay wired correctly. You should hear the pump engage before you turn to crank position.

correct what dntsdad said. On mine I wired what ever wire went to like the efi, cor, and start relay, and ecu up. but the cor should have a w-lb wire and that needs to be hooked up. Its what turns the pump on when you have the key in the on position. hold on let me get my diagram out...

okay so I was close. So the W-R wire that goes to everything needs to be on the ecu for +B. Or at least spliced up with whatever color yours is. I think I spliced it with the w-b for my 99 harness's +B. thats basically all I did. It turned on the COR, and that in turned started the fuel pump. If that doesn't work let me know.

demon, there's an air flow meter connection from the COR that needs to be connected to the fuel pump connection.

don't mean to thread jack. i have all my B+'s wires tied into each other. and my notes for my swap is the following.

92 manual 4x4
light blue - FP(Check Connector)
green / yellow - FC (Air Flow meter)

98 manual 4x4
green / yellow - C6 COR | FC *ECU*
FP connector does not exist

so i have the FC wires tied into each other. and since the FP connector doesn't exist from my notes it's not connected. I also don't have the AC Amp connected as these shouldn't interfere with the engine starting... also note VSV's are not connected to anything as well.

If connect the following directly to each other the fuel pump comes on.

Connector C2 Pin 5. blue = A1 A/C Idle-UP VSV 2 HOT ON with IGN all the way on (switched)
Connector C1 Pin 6. light blue = FP (Check Connector) Grounded

Oh and the fuel pump stays on... Doesn't come on and turn off like i think it should/

well I seriously didn't touch any of that stuff as it was a part of the body harness. literally the only time I touched the COR, was when I was trying to get oil pressure to go up before I put the spark plugs in. I didn't want the fuel pump running, so I un pinned the FP wire. The COR is what turns the FP on. I thought the only difference between the 3.0 and 3.4 is the wire going to the mass air flow meter. Looking at the EWD's. Yes this is the only difference. I would put all the wires back where they were with the 3.0 COR and run it that way.

that's the thing, this has nothing to do with the RELAY. The relay has been untouched. this is just everything located in the dash harness. IDK maybe i'll by some beer and try to figure out this chaos....

lol okay, I don't think I am answering your question. Lets try this another way. Can you please send me or post a picture of the ecu plugs so that I can see what wires you have wired where. Then another picture of your IH1 and IH2 plugs. Please note if you spliced any different color wire between the ecu plug and those 2 body harness plugs.

I think this will let me help you a little better. I am more of a hands on/visual guy, so trying to explain it or get what you are saying is hard hehe.

I know how antsy you must be to get this damn thing going, so I will try to do everything I can do help.

oh and don't worry about asking your question here. No worries about thread jacking or anything. You've got questions, we've maybe got the answers

that's my sorry documentation. I know it's not that detailed. =0
I will try to get pictures today... If I can. Other than that maybe my last message will make sense with seeing my documentation.

Hamish, i didnt want to waste another thread with my question so im going to hi-jack yours!

On starter, i ran the b-w to my 90 solenoid wire under the kicker panel, and it will start the 1st time, but if you turn it off and try to start it again it just click clicks... any ideas?

You wait awhile, or disconnect the battery it will start again. Doubt the solenoid is weak just looking for advice from anyone. I dont have the starter wired to the STA pin on the ecu either

bad starter? i can touch the b-w wire from the starter straight to the battery and it fires right up over and over and over again...

i was talking to someone else and they suggested i ran the wire to a toggle switch, but i would really like it to work off my key. i started it a min ago first time today and started right up off the key, turned it off. tried again and click click

So, what I did was basically cut the II3 plug off, and I didn't have the II1. Not sure why. but anyways, I then just wired what I needed from the II3 plug into the IH1 or IH3, or directly to the plug D for ecu. I still have probably around 10? or so wires that I just have tied up and out of the way. like the L4 switch (don't have that on my 3.0 tranny), and a few other little things. And a lot of the IH1 and IH2 pins you just leave alone, I did run a wire from my start up to the ecu sta, and I think I spliced it to the ign too so that when I turn the key to start, it starts. I really don't know where to begin here lol. So let me see if I can do something here....

IH1
1. white / black = AC amplifier 8 Left alone
2. empty =
3. empty =
4. purple = Check Engine Light Wire to ECU.
5. green /white = STP (From Stop Light) leave alone

6. light blue = FP (Check Connector) (Fuel Pump) If you connect with
Hot wire the pump will come on. Doesn’t seem like Relay is clicking – Hooked up to hot switch with IGN on and seems normal. But doesn’t seem correct. I didn't mess with this.

7. light blue / black = AC Amplifier 1 (ACT A) Left alone
8. black / red = IGN 2 I am pretty sure I didn't touch this.
9. yellow / black = THA (Air Flow Meter) OR TC (Data Link Connector) Pulled the pin and cut wire from the engine side, no longer needed.
10. black /green = BATT I think I left this alone, as it was still a part of the body harness? It may go to the ecu though. Unless this wire is the one to the EFI fuse/relay.
11. empty =
12. white / green = SEL 1
13. empty =
14. black / red = IGN 2 (Fat Wire)
15. empty =
16. white / red = +B, +B1Spliced this with the blue/white +b wire on the new harness.
17. empty =
18. empty =
19. empty =
20. green / light blue = SPD goes to spd on ecu. Pin 12 I believe on plug d.
21. empty =
22. black / white = STA Went to starter, and maybe ignition. Would have to look at it again to be certain.
23. green / yellow = FC (Air Flow Meter) pulled from plug on engine side.
24. empty =

IH2
1. empty =
2. green / white = Add Control Relay 2 Left alone
3. empty =
4. empty =
5. blue = A1 A/C Idle-UP VSV 2 left alone
6. black / brown = TCCS ecu 24A / a1 a/c idle-up vsv 1didn't have I don't think. Had manual tranny.
7. red / white = Backup Lightwas not wired up to the II3 wires, until a couple days ago. but now I have those spliced in.
8. black / orange = Goes to Backup Light SwitchSame as above.
9. empty =
10. green / yellow = Add Indicator Switch left alone
11. yellow /blue = Oil Pressure SenderGoes to pin 22 on II3
12. empty =
13. green /blue = Speed Sensor 2 (Combo Meter) hmm? I only had one spd wire. the sensor was all in the gauge cluster.
14. yellow / green = Water Temp Sensor Spliced this one with Pin 21 of II3
15. white / black = AC Amp 7 | AC Mag Clutch | TCCS Ecu B10don't have this hooked up.
16. empty =
17. empty =
18. empty =
19. green / red = Speed Sensor 3 (Combo Meter)
20. black = Tac / IgniterI only had 16 wires so this one was like pin 16 or something. but it goes to the same wire for the igniter on the engine harness.

So I am not sure if I even remotely helped here. And this is from memory, so if there are any direct questions, then I can look tonight when I get home for you. And the IH1 and IH2 are the same as c1 and c2 I believe.
