3.4 lower bell housing cover?.
I bought a 94' 5 speed that has a great running 3.4 swap but when I was under the truck I noticed the lower half of the fly wheel was visible the tran doesn't cover it. Is there a pc missing or do I need to make one?

This is going to be interesting !!
For what ever reason someone cut off the lower part of the bell housing.
Please post up some pictures.
Depending on just how this was done it may have compromised the strength of the bell housing!!
Why it was done that is the question
Your not by Chance in Alabama ??

More pics of fly
The angle is weird but u see what I mean. It is the bottom of the fly that is visible. I am not sure what is missing but I don't think this is right I can only get this one pic uploaded.

The problem is...no stiffener plate(s) to bolt the flywheel housing under cover to.

There's bolt holes on both sides of the block for those to bolt to.

So those part # will bolt to the trans and the motor? I think I remember them off my 22r. But I believe this is the original 3.0 trans to the 3.4 motor. But if that's all that is needed I can ebay them and bolt them up!

Yeah...pretty standard fair. Most engines have them(all the ones I've ever seen anyways). The cover is the same for both motors/transmissions. But the stiffener plates from a 3VZ-E won't work on a 5VZ-FE. AFAIK.
I didn't bother with the part # for the seal on the cover. I'll look that up again. But it's not really worth getting IMO. Hell...I didn't even know it existed until today. Neither of my trucks have one.

Just an FYI, the 3VZ-E stiffener plates (that bolt to the side of the motor and bellhousing) will work with the 5VZ-FE block and the R150 from a 3VZ; I bolted them onto my swap and have been running with them for 3 years without issue.

Exact same part #'s for both even. I was too lazy to check that. Thanks for catching it.

So I ordered the parts and I got a call today the Left side bracket is no longer made or available?? They are sending the right side and the bolts so I guess I will go to the junk yard and grab it. I wish I would have cancelled the whole thing and just got all of it from pick a part. Oh well. BTE the trans I have is the stock 3.0 5 speed. What is that referred to? So I know when I read your posts. Thx

The transmission you have is called an R150F
Check the plug on the transfer case.

I am still waiting for the brackets, but I was under the truck today looking at the transfere case for the 4x4 light indicator light. I found the plug that is located on the passages side almost on top of the case. It has the plug in it but the wire looks like a single wire is cut and hanging. I looked around and could find a wire that looks like it was cut from. Matter of fact there is really no wires or connectors that look like they will make it to that point. Nothing in that area. What does this wire or connector look like or where will it come from?

Mud hippy thx for all the help! Parts came and I put it on yesterday.
When I got the truck the reverse lights didn't work along with the 4x4 indicator light. I found both wires and had to lengthen them both but all hooked up. Reverse tail lights work! But the 4x4 still does not. Is there any other connections I should look for??

If it does, the 97's ADD wiring is different than the early ADD wiring (at least it was for my 91, and I'm sure your 89 would be in a similar situation). Take a look at this thread and my poorly drawn (hand drawn) wiring diagrams for how I wired the ADD/4WD circuit for my swap: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160/add-wiring-258599/
If you don't have ADD, get a multi-meter and start tracing voltages through the 4WD wiring.
If the 4WD light isn't turned on, you don't have 4WD fully engaged and working.
As a side note, if the truck has manual hubs, don't assume it came from the factory like that, check for the VSVs on the passenger side fender. See this thread for more info: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/94-vsv-fwd-276058/
