Tight turns, and a horrible, horrible sound.

So, last winter I decided to do some donuts in the parking lot when it was covered in a few inches of snow. I was in 4WD at the time. I think this was a very bad idea.

Ever since, when making very tight turns I hear the worst possible sound you can imagine coming from your vehicle coming up from the front right wheel. It's a metallic grinding, banging, popping, snapping, screeching sound. When I come out of the turn, it goes away.

What the hell did I do to my truck?

btw, 93 4Runner

Smear grease on your steering stops.

I had the same problem with mine when I bought it,
Very simple fix is to smear thick axle grease on all 8 streering stops on the knuckle,''I did this about two months ago,and it hasnt accrued again sence''or you can buy new new nylon caps from the stealer that go on the end of each steering stop bolt, and this will fix your problem.

In 4wd, with the wheel turned to lock, you shouldn't be hammering the gas. Not good for the CV's, and probably not good for anything...
