Ring Gear Carnage
So I completely destroyed my front ring gear on my '92 4Runner, and I was hoping to get some info on where I might get a cheap replacement.
It's a Toyota 7.5" IFS with a 4.300 gear ratio. I'm hoping to find a used- good condition ring and pinion for under $100. Any one have any leads?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Enjoy the pictures, they are a great example of what a ring gear shouldn't look like

I don't know about less than $100, but I've had luck with www.junkyarddog.com

Yeah I've looked on a couple request sites briefly, but it looks like I found a place in Phoenix with what I'm looking for. Thanks for your input anyway.

If you're looking for just the ring & pinion, $100 shouldn't be hard to find. I pick up used 4.10 gears for $25+shipping all the time. Just find someone who swapped out theirs for something lower. Now, if you're looking for a complete 3rd member, $100 will be more difficult but not impossible.

The problem with buying a ring and pinion is the damn set up.
This one Junkyard close to me has an ADD Diff out of a '97 T100, going for $330. Low mileage and newer than my '92, sounds like a good deal.

Well, I have a manual hub conversion so technically I don't need an ADD diff, but I'm kind of looking for ADD axles so I don't have to disable the vacuum hoses.
