Redline MT-90 for my 92 4x4 (5sp.)

Question:

What is the capacity of transmission fluid I needed to fill my 5sp? I am pondering a switch to Redline MT-90 in my transmission. My gearbox is getting more and more "sloppy" in these cold mornings.

Thanks for the info.

hope this helps

this is from my 92 factory service manual

i'm not sure which transmission is for the 22re motor...but your owners manual might tell you which one you have...maybe....

This might help that.

I just did the bushing repair yesterday and what a huge improvement it made. The shifter slides easily and smoothly into gear and downshifts are noticably smoother. I also shift into reverse a lot easier now.

It's pretty easy, it'll feel like the new one wants to split apart as you squeeze it down there but it's no big deal and only takes a couple minutes to do.

It takes more time to disassemble the console then to put the bushing in the tranny. Its an easy repair and well worth the expense.
