Oil leak help?!?!?!?

Oil leak help?!?!?!?

.......Just put in a brand new 22re, drove form Vancouver to Seattle...... ran perfectly smooth and cool, get home and notice oil all down the passenger side and in the engine comartment. Never lost oil pressure......... I degreased the engine but can't find where it might be coming from. HELP!!!

.....the leak is coming from the front main seal areound the pulley shaft in front of the oil pump. the pump came installed from the engine builder! Is the seal bad or could it be a problem related to putting the shaft and pulley into it??

Seal could be bad, if the seal or motor sat around dry for a while. The shaft comes from inside the motor the seal, housing, pulley all slip over it. You might need to resleave the pulley if the shaft has grooves worn into it. Try a new seal and see if it stops leaking, its not hard to replace.

Thanks!!!!!!! Got a new seal and repair sleeve so we'll see how this goes the second time around......
