How to fix slow tire leak?
I've got a slow air leak in my driver's side rear tire. It looses maybe 10 psi every month. I once crossed some water and noticed later that air bubbles were forming right at the base of the valve stem on the leaky tire. Any ideas on a fix for the slow leak?
On my first car years ago, i just used a bottle of the fix-a-flat on its leaky tires and problem was solved. but I've heard that is bad for the tires.

I was a tire tech for Big-o and Firestone. Please don't use fix-a-flat! It makes a huge mess!
I would take it in, have them check the valve stem and replace it. If it is not the stem, then have them patch and plug to fix the hole. DO not go to a place that will just plug the hole!!

Other than a repair, theres a product called true goo that is incredible.
I use it in my truck and offroad bikes and mountain bikes due to the large amount of cactus in the desert here.
This stuff, unlike Slime, stays liquid, wont rust out wheels, and works incredibly well.
Heres there home page:
