Emergency please help...fuel hose

Emergency please help...fuel hose

somehow my fuel hose managed to pop off the top of my gas tank. i tried snapping it back on, but there is absolutely no slack in the hose to re-connect it...somebody helpppp!!!

your local autoparts shop will have it in stock, i would jsut buy a new one and replace it.

i finally got it to clamp back on, but there clearly is alot of tension in the hose that shouldnt be there. I got worried because there was no way to put gas in and my 4runner was stranded and i wasnt about to pay for a tow

Probably related to the 3" body lift, try following the hose that is too tight and see if there is a clamp or attachment that is putting the tension in the hose. Try adjusting the other end to allow a little more slack in the hose.
