W56 stock clutch

Just about to do a VW TDI swap, i am wondering how much torque a stock clutch in a W56 will take? I am hoping the modded 1.9 will put out about 270 ft-lbs.

Thanks,

Lucas

What size tires are you running? Have you seen any of the Marlin clutches? Those should be more than enough if you are running anywhere from 31-35 tires. Guys wheel on stock clutches with 36's and 38's with 22re's and some built 22re's with around 150hp/170ft-lb.

I've also heard the stock clutch is one of the best, I'd take it over a Centerforce. Not sure about Marlin though he always seems to find a way to upgrade the OEM stuff somewhat. Hope this helps, I don't have any first hand experience but I hope to swap an older 1.9T non TDI in my truck one day and I wanna push a bit more power out of it too.
