anything is posible with the right amont of $$$$
only thing you'll need to check is if you can get an adapter from like advanced adapter to bolt up engine.

For what it's worth, I have every part needed to complete my 7MGTE swap, but I have no time to build the motor. I'm using 7MGE (n/a) pistons to bump the static compression ratio for more low end grunt/torque. I'm expecting 300-320rwhp when I'm done. I'm also very familiar with the 7M, as I've been building a 7MGTE powered Supra for years.

hmm sounds good but i think i have the w series tranny... im not too sure. but i think itll be sooo kool to have a rotary toyota XD. so if the splines do match, then i think i can get everything fabricated... and ill defidently take pics if i do it

If your truck had a 22re, you have the w series, which makes the swap even easier. Motor mounts from a 5M, w58 bellhousing from a MKIII Supra (86.5-'92), and a modified oil pan makes it literally bolt right in. Source a 7M harness and ECU (also easy), splice about 5 wires, and you're done.
Rotary would be a waste of time, they're gutless. For less cost and fabrication, you can have 300rwhp out of your pickup.

well what i was thinkin is, i could have it quick for 2wd high and when i want power i could put it in 4wd low.. but idk if it quite works that way

Mild bolt ons with a 7mgte, and you're pushing 300rwhp, 300rwtq. That's in 2hi. If you slap it in 4lo, you'll have more power than your truck will need, or your axles can handle. With a rotary, even with 4lo, you're not going to get that torque that a truck needs.
