Buick Lucerne

I have a 2007 Buick Lucerne with a 3.9l flex/fuel and I want to know if I can replace it with a 3.8l gas and if so is there something special I need to know?

Much of the knowledge concentrated here is Toyota centric,

but who knows, maybe you'll get an answer to your Buick question.
