The naturally aspirated 2jz and 1jz manual uses the R154 behind it. It uses a pull type clutch. The bellhousing will bolt up to any "R" series transmission, but the R154 which is available in a 2wd configuration only has a longer input shaft then the other "R" series transmissions and it has a first gear ratio of 3.250. The "R" series transmissions that came in 4wd's are the R151f and the R150f. These transmissions use a push type clutch not a pull type. This is not such a big deal as the transmission really doesn't care what type of clutch is in front of it, but the big problem that you have to get around is the input shaft length. A R154 input shaft is about 1 1/8" (30mm) longer than the input shaft of a R151f or early R150's
If you read on the Marlin Crawler board the transmissions look the same, but the 1st gear is part of the input shaft and the cluster gear of the r154 will not match the r151f, so in other words you can't swap the input shaft of R154 into a R151f.
The R151F was the manual behind the 86-88 22rte (turbo) pickup (Hilux) in North America, but I have read that this transmission was also behind diesels in the Asian/Australian/New Zealand/African, etc. market. They are the transmission of choice for hard core off roaders because they have a 4.313 first gear ratio and a 23 spline output shaft that mates to a 23 spline input gear driven transfer case. Whereas a R150 4wd transmission has a 3.830 first gear and a 23 spline output shaft that mates to a 23 spline input chain driven transfer case.

What you want to do with your truck?

If you want the R151f for the low 1st. gear for serious off road use you are going to have to build a custom bell housing because the input shaft will not seat in the pilot bearing and there will be throw out bearing issues (shorter torque tube) with the 1JZ stock bellhousing. However the tailhousing of the "R" series transmissions are all the same, so you can swap in the output shaft and tailhousing of a R151f into the R154 and run a gear transfer case or you can swap the output shaft and tailhousing of the R150 and use a chain transfer case, but you will not have the lower transmission first gear that is sought by most off roaders.
If you are not really concerned about the gearing of the R151f or you don't necessarily need a gear driven transfer case, then you can use the mid 90's R150 that was behind the 5VZE 3.4 v6. The input shaft on this transmission is 1 " (25.4 mm) longer than the input shaft of the earlier R150 that was behind the 3VZE 3.0 V6 and almost the same length as a R154 about 1/8 (4.6mm) shorter. This should bolt right up to the 1jz bellhousing. So the easiest setup would be a 1Jz/R154 bellhousing, bolted up to a 95 or newer R150, but these are drivers side drop on the front housing....is your Prado drivers side or passengers side drop? (Which side of the vehicle is the front differential on). If it's passengers side this is another problem that will have to be addressed, but it is a problem that can be solved.
