3.4 Swap into 92 Pickup: Verification

3.4 Swap into 92 Pickup: Verification
Hello,
I'm trying to determine if I want to do a 3.4 swap to my father-in-law's 1992 Toyota pickup (automatic 4wd). I've done chevy ls swaps before, but that was for myself - not someone else. I don't want to mess with this 3.4 swap if it's a huge pain in the butt. From the research I've done, I get two stories.
Here is what I would like verification on the most - If I drop a T100 3.4 in the 92, will it work properly with the stock transmission and transfercase?
ORS's FAQ's seems to indicate that it will - I just don't want to mess with any output shaft speed sensor and transfercase mods. Sounds like there still might be transfercase issues - ORS states the following:
"Unless you have a T-100 donor vehicle. If the donor 3.4L parts and transmission are from a T-100, the T100 front driveshaft output is on the passenger side (like yours). In this case the T100 transmission and transfer case would work without modification."
Does this mean I need a T100 with the tranny and transfercase to avoid a mess, or will the 92's work with the T100 engine just fine?
Thanks for any help!

The engine does not know what it is bolted up to.
Yes it will bolt right up. Speaking in general
You do know about making a exhaust crossover of some type because your fuel tank is on the left.
Also the merging of the wiring harnesses ??
All the other swap goodies Battery and air intake swap mounting the Charcoal canister
Since your married to Daddy`s little Girl is this something you really want to get involved in doing??
That is all I am saying.

Haha!
So, the bit about the engine - I'm talking ECM/TCM - according to ORS, the Tacoma engines (the computers) don't compute with the 92's transmission and TC. I had the same issue with the 2008 Tahoe motor I put in my 88 Blazer, but Chevy aftermarket stuff seems a lot friendlier that Toyota. New stuff doesn't talk to old stuff without adapters and sensor mods - that's what I meant by the engine. Hopefully that makes more sense.
Very aware of the crossover - plenty of info on that. Thanks - Same about the wiring harnesses and the other accessories.
My father-in-law is kind of a egocentric butt-hole, so, no - I'm not overly excited to get into this project (especially in the winter), but if I don't have to screw around with output sensor mods on the transmission, I'll probably go for it. The truck will probably be my son's someday.
