22re into an 82? or 22re to 22r
would it be easier to change my 22re into a carbourated or just turn the 82 into feul injected i have a complete 89 truck with frame damage but everything is there and works so... should i just swap it out? it doesnt sound that hard thinking about it since i already have all the parts but ive never seen anyone do it so thats making me doubtful thats its a easy as its seeming to be...

i'm doing an 89 22re into my 82 and yea i got it started just having problem with the ignition. keeps blowing out my fl am1 40A fuse, lots of wiring to do. re-did all the wiring into my cluster and made a check engine light for it because need to go ref it

First of all from i've done some research on it and did the swap it matters what year 22re you going to put in I believe 89 and up 22re there are two harness in the engine bay and the early year it's a one piece. The motor drops right in nothing to worry about that but you going to need the fuel tank fuel line and wire up a relay for the efi because the ignition switch doesn't have the extra switch for the efi and do some wiring for the cluster. You are going to need some wiring diagram for the year motor you are putting it in because there is a slight difference in sensor depending what year it is also if you are in CA you are going to need the check engine light and take it in to ref
