ok so i know its been a long time since i have been posting anything. Since the last post i have installed a TG rear bumper, U bolt flip kit, and been working to save up more money to buy the final parts to finish up the big things. plus i have been trying to figure out why my runner leans to the right by about 3". Pics soon to come

Little bit of news today. Went out to bobby longs house yesterday. Got me a new set of longfield super axles. Talked with him a little about whether or not to run an arb locker and what he thought of that. BTW he sold me the axles and hub bearings for 600.00.
Such a nice guy. He was very nice and gave a tour of his rock garden and showed me all his cool toys. But in HIS opinion he dosent like arb lockers and says they are a piece of brown do do. He has detroits in every thing and says to run them instead of an arb. Just him saying that convinced me to drop the arb idea and roll with a detroit. The guy knows what he's talking about. Anyways im super stoked to have his axles and am one step closer to having a bullet proof wheeler.

Yes. he has used arb's in the past and he said they seem to break alot. the hoses get ripped off the axles. the compressor seems to always be running and getting hot then shutting down. he likes the detroits cause they will kinda unlock when turning but mainly the reliability. he has used them in all his rock crawlers and never had problems. thats all.

cause my angle off the t case is like 38 degrees at ride height and if i go too fast ill toast the u joints or rip[ it apart. if i had a hi pinion diff i would knock 10-12 degrees off, ps i dont run a cv even a 85 clearanced one would bund a little im single joint on both ends, 2nd gen runners have a little bit longer finger on the yoke that hold the u joint and can run at an extreme angle without binding compared to first gens which had shorter fingers on the yoke
