my yota

my 1990 sas'd toyota 4x4. it has a 3vze motor and 4.10 gears but i am regearing it to 488's with a high pinion to help stop front vibrations because of the driveline angle being steep. it has a detroit locker in the rear and open in the front because i like to turn. i am going into my second year of ast and this is what i own. i am wondering what are your thoughts opinions of it. It has a different box on it because i did have an exo skeloton on it but i didn't like it. what should be the next things i should add on it?

Nope, copy and paste the Direct Link, over on the right, in the "Insert Image" option, above, when you post.

well, it has the tg 3 inch ifs elimanator with 36 by 12.50 irok tsls on 15 by 10.50 mickey tomphsons. it has 4.10 gearing and wicked vibration over 50 kph. I am regearing it to 4.88 since i am going on the highway. I am also putting a high pinion in the front to help stop the vibration. it has just a detoit locker in the rear and i was thinking about having a yukon in the front but two coworkers (journeymen) told me to keep the front open so you can turn.

I'd keep the front diff open too. That's what I'm doing with my rig... And you might think abouyt regearing to 5.29s, you will get even better fuel mileage and much more off the line pickup too.

i have tried keeping the build low as i could but i still think that it's kindof high :S. But other peoples with the 5 inch kits are super high and have to do a transfercase drop.

my tach is above 3 grand at 70 mph stock... most guys are running around 3500 rpm with 5.29s and 35's or bigger tires.. and most guys are pulling high teens for fuel mileage too. 16,17 even 18 highway

well i was wondering how many pinion shims do i need to mesh with the ring gear. I could go through the trouble of finding out the hard way but you guys could tell me lol. i have read that .075 would work from a different website.

Each gear set and housing is different, so there's no right on suggestion we can give you except the starting point.
