Classes will have started by that time so I'll already be skipping out on Friday just to leave early. I'll get there ASAP on Friday so I can hopefully wheel Friday evening/night and then all day Saturday, that'll be more than enough for me. Have you ever been to Tellico before?

I want to add hydro assist steering & lock the front so I am going to watch what Wabbit does & learn from that. Boils down to no one here I trust to do the work (no experience in this & paying for the install).

Well...I can't commit to it yet. Gotta check on the summer $funds$. Gas for the Winnie is a killer. I gave it a good run at Riverrock last Month though. Worked like a charm.

Think'n about where to stay..(if I can go). Is anyone staying at Crawfords? It is way too far away IMHO...but. Otherwise it is the dry TN side. I could just park it somewhere (maybe at the bottom of 5) and run off the generator. Anyone have the # to that cabin further up trail 1 before the pay station? They were handing out flyers in the middle of the road one of the times I was there this year. Privately owned place, not associated with tellico cabin rentals.

I remember the private place you're talking about & I almost wrote the number down last time, sorry. I hope to have the info I need to do the X-over with hydro assist soon so I can have it for Fall Crawl.
BTW, does anybody on this run have a winch?

Took the runner up to my mechanic, it was starting at intermittent times. He gave it a look, said it was the starter. Luckily I have that under warranty at Advanced auto parts. Gotta go get another one after I get this one off....Loads of fun huh? Stupid cheap parts.
This will make 3 reman starters since the first replacement. I'm on my 5th alternator....the only thing that hasn't screwed up is my Optima, Still going strong.

Ok, so I took the starter off and had it replaced. They said it looked to be off roaded and next time they might not do it......Any ideas as to how to keep mud out?

OK, I got my Longs in & tested them out, man they worked great...right up until I grenaded the rear drive-shaft...
Oh well, I can't find the weak links unless I pound on it.
Luckily the trail is less than a mile from my house. I just pulled what was left out of the T case & drove home in front wheel drive. Better here than Tellico.
