I have a mech in Cookeville, He is a first class mech, cheap, and honest. Cookeville is 100 miles east of Knoxville. I'll be gone til next Tuesday, but I'm pretty sure I could drag you're 4runr here and get him to fix it. The only caviot is he is very busy and may not be able to get to it right a way?

Rob,
Call Whites Junk Yard in Vonore, TN 1-423-884-6075
They are a Toyota ONLY salvage lot and you may get the parts at half the cost. used of course.
If I had a shop - you could do it here at my house and camp in my back yard.
I travel all week long and I am here on most weekends. Not sure the wife would like people here if I wasn't. Other than that we could use my yard that is 15 miles from knoxville. Hell - we could take it a block away from Toyota of Knoxville to my office and do it in the parking lot one weekend.
I'm in the office tomorrow for the first time in a week, I'll see about getting permission for that. Nobody other business is open weekend's where my office is located.
Oh and my sister is the office manager at Lexus of Knoxville, same owner as the Toyota dealership - let me work that angle too. No promises yet but I will ask.

Yeah, that was a good joke on me. I fell for it hook, line & sinker.
It was ironic that I busted the radiator later though don't you think?
And you see the new sig line I added about the $5.00/gallon gas... Good times, Good times!
I got the damn giggles when Jesse & I came in off the porch & you were sawing logs like that, so I had to tape it. It didn't bother me in the least after I laid down. I passed right out.
Rob- Keep the faith man, it'll get worked out. You have a great support network right here looking out for you.

Apparently it has to leave the dealership and break down again to get service on a non-commercial basis...any takers?
