Wednesday Hancock/Tomichi Pre run, CO

Since i'm leading strangers over these trails in 2 weeks I need to get up there and figure out where i'm going. I've never done it before but its pretty well documented online and in the books.

If anyone wants to join me meet me at 9:30 Wednesday Morn. in the back of the Gunsmoke truckstop parking lot, Johnson's Village. I'll roll out at 10 AM sharp. CB channel 4.

That's funny. That's one that Darren and I drove yesterday (8/2). I just finished uploading my review and photos. You can see it here.

It's a lofty trail.

Have fun!

Nice pics Alan!! Nice bumper also.

I think you should get "sick" Wednesday.

I have a wingman lined up, from Pueblo in a Jeep of some kind. Its a YJ with badly rubbing front tires by the looks of things on the Colorado4x4.org board. I'd love to have another Toyota with us.

I need to investigate this busted bridge you describe. I suspect some rigs on the Jambo will be a bit on the heavy side.

It's not really a bridge. That's really the only way to describe it, though. It's just a span of wood planks settled into the marsh and mud. And trust me...if you slide, it gets very tippy!

Had a beautiful day to go to the mountains.
Sorry I had to leave early and get back but
couldn't be helped.

I have some pics but webshots and montypics
are coming up tonight.

Enjoyed meeting Matt and following in his
tracks today.
