I'm unfortunately out for this one, pretty sure my rig won't be ready then, but mainly I'll be salmon fishing in alaska on the 18th

I'm really excited to see so many up for this though, looks like we have a good group here so hopefully they'll be some more trips!

I got alot to do....

to be ready for wheelin'.

You ever fix that CV boot? I totally ripped one in Disney a few weeks ago and I'll be replacing it soon. Just gotta pick up the other shafts at my buddies. You more than welcome to come do it simultaneously.

That, change brakes on Momma's Runna, and fab a t-case crossmember for the SAS'd rig.

I'm gunna try to help your buddy install that locker he's gettin' too.

Anyways....

I'll be there. The QT that is.
I'll or John will talk to Justin and let him know the Yoats are goina meet up at QT in w. Tulsa. We'll see what he says.

MAN! If only we had more Coast Guard or Boy Scouts! Whatever happened to Semper Paratus, dude?

I need to swing by Violent 4wd tomorrow anyway, so I will tell them. If I don't swing by, I'll give Justin a call...

I'll be ready, don't you worry man.

I also found my cat cracked and it's also goina need replacing before the run. Either that or I'll make a test pipe and buy an O2 simulator.

Let me know what Justin says. I probably won't get to swing by till thursday.

I'm off to the office.

I lost my cat...it was black and I think someone stole it last Halloween. Anyway, I never did anything with the O2, and haven't noticed any problems as far as how the truck runs. I wonder if I'd get better milage if I did something?? Not that it's bad now, but it could be a tad better...

Are you pullin' my leg or does you NOT have a catalytic converter on your truck?? If you don't have a catalytic converter, do you have a CEL on?

I've got a piece of pipe (2.25in) and something like a 22 inch glasspack.

It's a little loud at certain RPMs or driving on highways next to the concrete barriers, where it throws it right back at you...but otherwise, fine. I do think I'll quieten it up because crawling through campgrounds at night it gets loud as it goes through the RPM ranges....

There's no check engine light on, and no black tape on my dash...

Cool. I think I'm just guna drop the cat, cut the flanges off, and em back on a piece of straight pipe. If I get the CEL, I'll just get the simulator from Gadget (URD). Now it's goina be loud.

That's what I had done. Works good because if you need to add a cat later (for going to California, or Colorado, or some other state they *might* actually check for that stuff...), you can just unbolt & rebolt a new cat right in there.

It also boosted my fuel economy by about 1.5 mpg, but I put a K&N filter on the same day so you've gotta allow for that...

I've also thought of putting some flanges on another glasspack so I could set it in for a quieter ride.

Ched, You know how my exhaust is. I have no cat and a flowmaster = VERY LOUD (well for a lil 6 cyl). But I did get my SuperTrapp put on!!!! It's a lot quieter and I regained some of the lost (needed) back pressure. Plus the sound of the discs is just cool

You get a full trap or a trapp cap? I still have a full SS trapp in my garage. :bounce2:

Take a pic of it and post it YO.

BTW: I got a guy from Joplin (Randy AKA: Miniac on the CustomTacos board) that says he's goina meet us at QT. He treid to wheel back there with us on an OKTTORA run when he was just a prerunner. It rained that day and his wife hit her head on the window during a slide so they spent the rest of the day shoppin' at the malls. This time he's 4wd and I think he's leavin' her at home. hehe

Me (Hoodlum here, SloPoke everywhere else), James (Sloth), and Clayton (OKTTORA PREZ) are the only ones so far that's committed to attending from the OKTTORA club.

I'm also trying to get my wife to take her Runna but that's doubtfull as we'll have to find a sitter for Rylie. I think Breezy's goina ride with me. If so, I'll have her bring her new video camera and film some obstacles. hehe

You wanna add James, Clayton, & Randy to the list and just list the club they're with in ()?

Not trying to talk you out of it but if it was me travelin' that far to wheel, I don't think this spot would be worth that much drivin'. It's only about 5-6 square miles but has plenty of trails. Of course, if you got the time, c'mon! I'd just be disappointed if I drove 10+ hrs round trip to wheel and nobody told me we're only wheelin' a 5 or so sq. mile plot of land.
Now, if this was a Disney, OK run, it would definately be worth your time as that place is totally fun as hell, offers a good variety of terrain and is about an hour closer to you than Tulsa.

Again, I'm not trying to talk you out of comin'! I'd love to see you attend. I just wanna make sure you know what your comin' for as to not disappoint ya.
