relax bob, that's the beauty of superstition you can take your moms grocery getter out there and have a blast. but there are also some rocks and stuf that can make the best built rig beg for mercy... something for everyone
one time i was there this guy had a bone stock 2wd ford expedition with like 8 people in it and he was bombing around the dunes having a blast.....
i'm still bringing josh's old tie rod as a spare

Bob, you can roll with me, I take it easier than these crazies. I will probably go on Lost Dutchman which is pretty easy according to Marc, or I might go on the Rabbit's foot run again which I can attest to it's easyness.
Rabbit's foot is only rated at a 2, and teh trail boss told me that we accidentally did alot of stuff that was meant for the 3 rated groups. Even at that it was fairly easy. I felt that it was exciting, but never felt like my truck was in jeopardy. There was even a stock early 90's extra cab pickup (It was low and long), he maybe had 30's and got through ok....he dragged his butt quite a bit though.
Don't let the solid axle guys creep you out.

ummm....waterfall? NO! ive seen the infamous fart truck video. nah, no way!
seth:
thanks medium difficulty is fine w/ me. anything tight and crazy (like above) that has a likelihood of 50% or greater body damage is definitely out of bounds for my truck

It's really a very accomodating place and being in the big group made me feel safer if I did pull the wrong move. Not to mention it's fun getting a ton of curious looks from the 1,000 Jeep guys out there.

I'm gonna bring some wood. I have one of those hitch baskets, so I'll probably leave it at camp during the day. I'm not sure I can fit a tree on that sucker, though.

you guys said wood . I would like to do rabbits foot or lost dutchman, so I'll roll with the majority. Mikey are you bringing all that wood on a trailer or something? I should be able to get lots of pallets from work but have no way to transport them, I was planning on bringing a bunch of cut wood from my dad's. Does anyone know if you can bring a dog?

So bummed I cannot go on this. I guess a best friend's (my sons God Father also) wedding that I am in is pretty important though. Blah, Blah, Blah... The groom has been my spotter and camera guy for the last 2 years of wheelin so I suppose I owe him. I told his chick that we could do it out there like Marc suggested. She did not think it was funny at all.
I got a new Garmin 130 GPS I wanted to try out. So I can be the coordinate king like Josh! Very Nice. Have to catch the next trip. Have lots of fun for me too.
