Hey Brad do you have a little better idea what your agenda for the day will be? Times for wheeling, shooting, making camp? It sounds like a cool run but as always, I've got the two dogs, and I don't know how either of them will be around gun fire. My buddy that is the real owner of one of them is in town and may be interested in going or if not, maybe he can watch his dog. Or maybe we may both come out and do a little shooting. Then head back

Steve, I don't mind not shooting at all to be honest. To me its an added bonus if I get to shoot trap, drink beer, and play with fire all in the same day as going exploring in the desert. If pat comes expecting to shoot, then we will definetly find some time to do that. If you want to wheel the first half of the day and obstain from gun fire I can definetly accomodate that. If you want to come out and shoot a little and turn around (you suck) but we can prabably do that too. The trip will be something like this:
Head out to inkopah via I8 (estimated time of arrival 11:00 am) and either go up the south side and get the last few trails that we didn't cover last time out there on the west side of the jacumba mnts (which look pretty good on the map) or head straight up to the mountain spring \ tbl montain side. By the time we drive out there and do those trails it will prabably be mid afternoon and we'll be getting hungry. Possibly BBQ around that time then wheel for a few more hours and find a camp spot and get comfy. There WILL be PLENTY of wheeling for everyone, I promise.
I can give you a firmer answer about the shooting thing if Pat says he is or isn't coming.
Just come, you'll be glad you did
And if I get my lazy arse in gear I might have a front locker in by this weekend. :whooooo:

And same goes for you eric. If holding off on the trap is what it takes to get your ass out there no problem.
edit: I know you might wanna bring Gabe.

thanks marc.
North side it is. The place im talking about mike is going up the place where we walked for a while and not going to the radio tower, but going to the right for like 10 minutes and coming back down. I don't care to go all the way to the back again. But I don't really care either way. Whatevers clever.

^ ok, I just got told not to drive 90 in the desert with no swaybar by mastacox. I'll try to remember that on the way out.
And wait until you have the check for the tacoma before buying another car man. You never know if they will flake on you.

Not making this one either. Baby shower on Sunday. Since when did these become multi-sex events? Anyway - have fun and stay safe.
Brad - did you get the bender yet? Let me know if you need a hand when the time comes. I found it very helpful to have the help of my neighbor during my build.

It's getting to be a pretty sure thing for me. Note to all those not making it: I can probably only afford (not financially) to make one more trip before the first week of May when I will be inMOABfor a week for my birthday. So I won't get to wheel with any of you for a while as I'll be spending my weekends working on the rig. Just thougt I'd let you know
