Have you compressed the file yet??
I use this to compress the data.
http://www.divx.com/divx/
It's free! However, your viewers will have to download at least the viewer in order to decode it on their end.
It should take the 32MB vid down to about 4-5 megs.

It's compressed a little bit, but I'm sure Divx would bring it down a little more. I'm kinda liking the quality it is at now, so I would hate to bring that down.
It's about 10 minutes long, so the raw file is about 2.5GB.
I think 32mb is pretty good...

Most of that quality is completely wasted on a computer. although it would look great on a hi def TV.

Well, I caved and re-rendered the file at a lower quality setting...so it now fits on my ATTBI webspace.
The resolution is about the same, but it's half as many frames-per-second and the sound is lower quality too.
Anyway, since this is my only option...here it is...
http://home.attbi.com/~jruz/
They won't let me directly link to it...so go here and it's probably best to do a right-click and "Save As" on the link on that page.
Jim
(I dunno how tolerant they are of this webspace, hopefully there are no transfer caps...10mb isn't a whole lot of data)

Awesome video.
I like
I have seen a lot of off road vids, but your choice of music goes perfect with all the scenes.
I especialy liked the bull whip at the very end
Salue, you might need a decoder downloaded to view it.
I had to DL one a few months back to let my Win Media player view a few from here.
Should be a link to the file archived here in this section somewhere.

Guy's, on page one of this thread is the link to a file you must DL.
http://www.divx.com/divx/
It updates your PC with new codex to view files that have been compressed with DIVX.
Get the free version, then reboot your PC after installing it.
I remember having to do this a few months back to see Gibby's vids.

Hmm...I guess it might be using Divx afterall. I didn't mean to use it, but it was on the system so that's what I used (played fine on both machines I tested it on...but they both have Divx installed).
Death, until I take some time and learn how to use Adobe Premiere, I can only make WMV files. Windows Movie Maker is just too easy for this caliber of movie... :-)
I'll see if I can convert it using Premiere or something. I guess ideally I should use an MPG or MOV file so our Mac friends can view it.
Corey, thanks. I ended up cutting out the audio I recorded and figured some music would suffice.
I had to throw in the "Canyonero" at the end...Jim's truck needed that extra spot-light...

Actually, I am running open-diffs. It wasn't easy, I did need a pull on one of the climbs. Most of the video was taken on the way back down. That last section where it shows almost everyone driving down a drop and then over a stream...on my way up I had a little help getting up. The locker would've helped there.
