Well I'm going locker-less so if anyone goes better bring a tow strap because I'm gonna be hitting everything I can because this 4runner has never saw a GOOD wheeling trip yet and these swampers still got some meat left to them.

J i may be up for it, what time saturday are you thinking of? I've been wanting to go for a while now but i didnt know a whole lot about Pott's. Im not locked either, just lifted with 33's....But like it was said earlier, i believe there are bypasses on the trail. If i cant do it this weekend, im definately up for it any of the following weekends...Lemme know!

I am headed to GWNF for the day with a bunch of Toyotas. some VA people stepped up last minute.
I am planning on Potts Mountain in the spring. It is too far for a day trip right now....
Micah--you should meet us in Harrisonburg at 930 Saturday am.

Well, since we did not make it out there last weekend. Jeremy has since fixed his 4runner... once again and decided to keep it, once again... so how abot we go up there next weekend? I've got my aisin's on and will have new tires this weekend so I will finally be ready to do something. If not potts we can hit up bobcat.

I could maybe do some light wheeling...I've gotta little knocking issue still and trying to find the culprit. Everytime I call Phil (strap22) he gives me hell about getting rid of it so i decide to keep it. He is the only one thats keeping me from getting rid of it! I also think my TPS is a little off....but I'm down as long as nothing breaks in between. I think the next time this 3.0 will be swapped!

I guess we will all start having to give you hell so you will keep it then.
Pott's should be fun. Micah and I went out today and was showing me a few local trails. I believe my new 32's did quite well on the trails esp.. since there was still snow/ice on the ground. I'll probably see if any of the xterra, & jeep junkies want to head up there with us.

hmm....well i'm sitting here choking the meds down like a junkie to get rid of this stuff I caught yesterday. Them AT tires will do good in the snow...you will probably go places where I can't in these swampers when the snow is on the ground. Hell I was sliding around in the parking lot at the mall last night!

yeah, heres 2 pics from potts in october.
bypass
the ledge
bobcat, is right here in blacksburg. it isnt all that bad, can be a little tricky without a locker in spots, especialy if its wet or theres a little snow. let me know, i could stay in town and be trailguide on bobcat if you want. i know it really well.

Bobcat is doable. John, you are probably the only one who knows where the trail is so we would have to meet you somewhere in blacksburg.
Yes, I was definately pleased with the way they handled yesterday. They will serve me well on the road and through the winter. Come tax refunds I will probably look into buying either another set of swampers or mt/r's though.
