Alright, after many discussions about when and how we should do this thing, NCSU-4Runner and I have set up a weekend that we hope everyone can go on. We think that the last weekend of June, Friday the 27th through Sunday the 29th, would be the best time. All of you who would like to join, please respond.

We plan to camp Friday night and Saturday night in tents one of the campgrounds in Uwahree. Im not sure how much fees are to use the campgrounds as well as driving the trails, but they would be split equally among those who go. (Ive heard a day-pass on the trails is like $10-15) Breakfast and lunch would be prepared by us (mostly cold and easy stuff like PBJ and turkey sandwiches) while we would probably go out to eat for dinner. Hmm, all others details are still under planning. Post a response if youd like to join in on this.

Stump: If this date is not good for you then Im sure we can change it as you were the first to come up with the idea of a NC run at Uwahree.

*EDIT* As NCSU4Runner pointed out, camping is free in uncleared areas and has a small fee in settled campgrounds. $5 per day charge for use of trails.

Well like I told yu guys over AIM, I'm gona be taking the lift out of my Runner soon and be getting this one sold and on it's merry way pretty soon. So no off roading for her any more, but I ill be getting a new one soon after. So we will definately have to make a second run after all is ready on my new rig.

As for this trip, I will do my best with good ol' Home Depot to see if I can pull something to get off and just make the drive down there so I can at least ride along with someone, and s I can meet up with everyone and see some good looking 4Runners in person for once.

So how many of people are actually coming on this trip, I'm curious, I know Prolax took my idea of a Uwahree trip and actually ran with it, way to go man, kudos to you. I'll keep in touch and udated on the possibilty of making the trip.

Sorry Prolax, I'mnot gona be able to come at all, like I told ya last night. My lift is coming off this weekend and up on the market she goes. The sooner I sell her the sooner I can take a serious look into that 5spd w/ the e-locker. So count me out on this one, we'll just have to get another run going, it's a good excuese.
