Farmington, NM 04.14.2007
I live in Durango and want to do a little wheeling in Farmington on this coming saturday (04.14.2007). I'm having trouble finding decent directions or information on any of the trails. I know there are a lot of trails but the bit of information i have found is not very helpful, saying, "its a hard trail to find if you don't know the area" hmm well thanks.
anyway i know there is a lot of hardcore crawling out there which i am not interested in because i dont have the rig for it. plus i dont have the bank account for a lot of breakage either. i would like to run some mild to moderate trails ideally with some optional obsticles and such. would anyone be interested in coming along? maybe someone with knowledge of the area or whatever. AGAIN... my tube buggy on rockwells and 40's ahh has a flat. so no really gnarly trails. and always, i would really like to wheel with other yotas and meet some more nice folks. anyone interested or have additional information concerning the area? thanks

NM TTORA is planning a clean up and wheeling weekend in Farmington this weekend 4/14 & 4/15. I know the thread says the 17th, but it is corrected.

I might go, not sure.

Either way, I know the author, and is a pretty nice guy, a jeep guy. He has a killer buggy called "The Itch" that is just really amazing.
Anyhow, I guess I should spend some more time there in Farmington. Brain needs seme Extreme Trail Leaders.......actually called me a Sissy.....LOL. I'll talk to the BOSS about trying to get out there for a day of wheeling on the May trip.
I talked to Adam the other day, and he stated he is planning on going out during this time frame. Should be pretty wild.
