Conquering Mount Triglav – A Journey to Remember
Just finished climbing Mount Triglav, and I can’t recommend it enough! It’s Slovenia’s tallest mountain at 2,864 meters, and the whole experience was unforgettable. The trek itself is a mix of moderate hiking and some thrilling via ferrata sections toward the summit, so make sure you're prepared.
I did the climb over two days, staying in one of the cozy mountain huts. The views were breathtaking, with rugged peaks and valleys as far as the eye can see. Reaching the top felt like such a personal victory, plus there’s the tradition of “earning your horns,” which made it extra special.

If you love mountains and adventure, Triglav should be on your bucket list. It’s challenging but 100% worth it!

Yes, Triglav is a must! I climbed it in early autumn, and the weather was perfect. The via ferrata section was exhilarating, though I wasn’t expecting it to be as challenging as it was. I’d recommend getting some practice in if you’re not used to this type of climb. I stayed in a hut overnight as well, which was a great way to break up the hike.
