thoughts about a 1990 toyota pickup ext cab
it has 230,000 miles on it its really high but i know toyotas last forever it has a V6 in it the guys owned it sense 1995 when he bought (only had 70,000) he used it as a daily driver for a while but does not need it any more it has lots of extras on it like custom front and rear bumber and rock sliders that are rhino lined and so is the bed and some of the frame the a/c still cold has 2 in body lift seating on 35 12.50s still like new
the bad is it needs a valve cover gasket and the rad has a crack on the top next to the filler cap
hes asken 4000 but i think he would take 3500 what are your thoughts plz help

if you can do the important tests, a compression test and a block test, that would be pretty handy. comp. test to tell you about the rings/valves and block test to tell you about the HGs. with a crack in the rad, i'd be concerned about a previous overheat condition. i believe HGs on the V6 are a notorious weak link in the system. make sure you actually drive it through 4WD if so equipped. i remember testing a truck i really liked, until i put it into 4LO and it made a gawdawful sound.
