*SOLD*1988 Toyota 4x4 Xtra Cab Pickup with 8289 Miles. Really.

It looks like it does have AC by looking at the pic of the interior, the little green button on the lower left of the climate control area. take a picture of the data plate that is on the drivers side door jamb and that is where you will get the month and year that this truck was made.
Also I'm pretty sure they discontinued the wing windows after 1987 and they do not appear in 1988 models. I may be wrong and if someone can prove it, please do.
Great truck Matt, like everyone has said, do not just give this truck away and try to get every penny you can for it. Just because your father bought it for around the same price means nothing. Since a classic muscle car was sold from the factory back in the day for a few thousand, does that mean they aren't worth the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars that they pull today?

Thanks 881stgen. The build date is October of '87. Doesn't answer anything I don't think, but it's a tid-bit.
Just got off the phone with my dad, he's looking for the Window Sticker, and other stuff. He has the Factory manuals that came with it... not sure what else yet.
As for classic cars you are right, but I don't want to dilute myself either. I had a very far from factory (nothing matched) '68 Camaro that I sold for 10k about 4 years ago, that cost about 1/3rd of that new.
Enlisted detailing help for this sat, and told my dad that we'll get it out and get some real photos of it. So if there are any specifics you guys would like please speak up
Thanks again for all the help and encouragement guys, never hurts to consult the experts.

Email these guys for some extra help. They are probably going to want some better pictures though.

I think you got listed on Jalopnik.com also. so you should be getting a while lot more traffic.

BringATrailer has been suggested, debating listing it there after I get better pics, If I read it right they want $200 to list it.... which may or may not be a good deal. Thanks for the thought.
The Jalopnik thing was cool, makes me really wish I had taken better pics first though... oh well, this weekend I'll have some.

OP, once you clean it. Take some good close ups of the engine bay, the suspension, the frame underneath.. The leaf springs.. Everything you can think of. The seats pushed forward and viewing the rear interior... ETC..
I'm a little skeptical though. I mean with as little as that thing was driven, it's going to need a serious fluid flush. Not the biggest deal but.. the clutch and brake fluid look black as hell. Hope the brake lines ain't rusted out.
Thanks for spotting me, Jason. It is elblako with that 3rd gen pickup..

That is badass my friend!
I sincerely hope you get everything you and your Dad want out of it.
A full fluid flush and that thing is going to be good to go for YEARS.
If I could find a 3rd gen with less than 10k miles on it I would pay massive amounts of money for it - as long as it was legit.
I'm sure there are some people that feel that way about these.

HEY MATT!!! Does it have A/C or not?!?!?! Scuub says no, I say no, 881stgen says yes. Looks like a blank to me too. The green button has A/C in white. With how clean that thing is, the white should be plainly visible.
Either way, that truck is sweet, I would love to have it. Good luck with the sale.
