Well that's good.

So just for a head count:

Me
Anthony
Keith
Cory
Hans
Steven? (Friend of Anthony and I)
Brad? (Friend of Anthony and I)

So for sure at least 5, each of us with a rig. Cory will have two rigs obviously.

Hans will have 2 rigs as well. He's got a towrig and a 16' trailer. I've got a towrig and a 20' trailer. I'm also bringing a large tent that will probably have an open room in it if anyone wants it, provided Hans doesnt take it.

I've got 1 to 2 people coming with me.

That sucks dude.

I paid $60 to fill my rig today but that was with premium. I do a tank of premium every 4th tank or so just for some weird peace of mind thing.

I'm just about broke so I'll be bringing limited food supplies, box of protein bars, lunch meat and bread. If my check clears tomorrow then I'll have some good stuff!

I was thinking about strapping my propane grille to the trailer and using it to cook burgers or what not... may still do it. Thoughts?

Cory, would it be cool with you if I took my cooler and extra gear out of my rig and left it in your Burban while we wheel?

Sure. I still havent decided where I'm sleeping, so we may need to pull it out when I go to bed, but besides that, no problem at all. Same goes for anyone else!

Cory, if you want bring that grill that would make things easy on cooking. But really I'm just trying to do everything as easy as possible.

Fine with me man, I can probably put most of my stuff in your Burban so I don't think I'll have a need for it. If all else fails I brought a big padlock and some chain, that always works.

The Fayetteville crew is all leaving from here around 6:30pm so we should be there by 8 or so. I won't be doing any night running, and I will probably be taking it pretty easy around there in general but I think Anthony and Keith will go.

My number is (479) 283-4166 if you need to get a hold of me.

Later,

Fink

I know how to get to disney and that the wheeling is in the spillways.

But where is the entrance to Hogans?

I'd be coming across the dam into disney, do i just look for signs?

As you come across the dam towards disney from langley, immediately following the dam will be a gravel road that runs next to the spillway. Turn there. Take it a little ways and you'll comeup to a powerline pole where you can turn left. Turn left and Hogan's will be on your right. I'll send ya a PM with my cell and you can call me if you have any problems or would like to meet up!

If i come this trip i'll bring the money. I'm putting the rest of the top end on my truck after work.

So i need to see how that goes and how upset my significant other is at me at the moment.

I'm only about an hour and a half away though and i've been wanting to go wheeling badly.

Well I'd rather not bring the Axim if you're not sure, I'm not doubting you or anything I would just hate for it to get roasted in the heat or stolen.

But if you bring the money then I can ship out to you on Monday and that would be sweet, if not you can PayPal it to me or however you wanna do it.

T-minus 2 hours!

What a sweet trip!

I had a blast. It was great gettin to meet Cory and Hans (and Cory's cousing Will, lol). Sweet rigs! Those night runs were insane!

I'll post up some of the pics I got here in a little while.

Hope everybody had as good of a time as I did.

Fink
