FJ Cruiser compass

How many set yours soon after getting your rig?
I finally did mine this morning at work, only been blinking at me for 5 weeks now

Simple to do if you have not done it, the info is in the manual.

My dealer did not set mine for me.
I only had to do about 2 full circles at 5 MPH for it to finalize the setup.

Did the "jealousy" excuse come with the FJ manual? I think it has been used multiple times now.

I might laugh, but I would have the restraint to go in and try to fubar up someone's thread seeking a serious answer.

Armi, you only have the compass if you got the CQ package, or Upgrade package 1 or 2.

It is part of a cluster that has the compass, temp gauge, and clinometer, top dead center of the dash.

I am not sure which one gives it to you, but it is one of them.
Above is how mine was configured.

My wife has been driving her lexus for a year now with two lines on her mirror. I guess I should set it for her but I figured a much as she drives in circles that it would reset itself.

You actually have to set which section of the country you are in and then let the compass you are calibrating it. Read the manual and it tells you how to do it. Takes all of 5 minutes.
