fj cruiser apron pictures from 07 to 12
hi friends
im trying to collect pictures of damaged and non damaged inner fender aprons with the manufacturing dates to compare and see if we can determine wich years or dates of production are more prone to show the defect,i own a 2007 produced in july and is showing a little bulge in the passenger side so now im thinking to take mine to a chassis shop near my house the guy who owns the shop is a certified nhra chassis builder also a mechanical engineer so he knows what hes doing,he told me that if i can collect pictures of the problem he can help me design a support bracket but understanding that not every fj bulge or crack in the same spot he wants to make sure where are the weak points, one thing he told me was that if the tire contact the inner fender with a great force it surely bend the apron.he also stated that a leveling kit and longer bump stops greatly improves the risk of getting the bulges and cracks.i can give him mine to make the research but that means im going to be grounded for a long time and i need it to work,so every picture or homemade, shop solution is welcome ,im going to add the prado french solution picture and other ones to the record.
thanks in advance
