Winter starting issue?

Winter starting issue?
I have an odd starting issue with my 95 t100. I don't really know where to start. Just for background, the truck has a new starter and new battery.
My truck starts great the first time, no matter how cold. -5, 105, whatever, it starts. The trouble comes when it's a chilly but not freezing day, after driving a bit, it doesn't want to start again. It's like it's not getting gas. It cranks and cranks, I cuss a little, give it a minute, crank and crank, sweat some, then it starts.
If I leave it long enough to get cold, it starts right back up. If I try to restart it immediately, it's also fine. It's the 10-20 minute wait that seems to give it trouble.
My best guess would be a sensor of some sort. Any ideas? Any thoughts on how to diagnose this?
