turn signal help!

Previous owner installed aftermarket headlamps with halos that he wired up as the running lights; he also installed a custom bumper removing the front turn signals. He ran wires to the corner light housings but did not install turn signals. We have since installed the best we could get from NAPA as turn signals into those corner light housings. Due to all this re-wiring the turn signals flash very quickly and just recently we've had some issues with fuses going out. Mechanic said it could be caused by the wiring but genuinely couldn't find a solid reason for the fuses going out. Also, the bulbs/sockets we were sold to use as turn signals are pretty dim and most people can't see them! Any suggestions or advice would really be helpful as I don't have oodles of $$ to spend on having someone do it up right for me!

Put the turn signals down on the bumper .

What kind of lights ?? LED ??LED lights will hyper flash you need a different flasher.

Fuses open because either you have a short or your load exceeds the rating of the fuse.

Also pretty hard to help without knowing just what your trying to work on.

Can't put the turn signals in the custom bumper, no place for them! See photo below to know what I mean. The bulbs are not LED. I was thinking about changing them over so that they would be brighter than what's in there and then maybe, just maybe other cars could see my turn signals!

I use Brackets and grommets that are made by Grote I am sure others are out there.

I think I ordered them from Summit Racing.

I like the Steel brackets it gives one so many mounting options
