Power window switch rewire
Okay, I've searched for a while and haven't found what I'm looking for. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Apparently, the previous owner of my 88 4-Runner made a mistake replacing the power window switch, and burnt up the ground wire. I'm attempting a rewire, because I like using windows. I pulled the original wiring out (since it was burnt) and am starting from scratch. I have no plugs.
I verified the window motor works. If I reverse polarity, the window changes direction. Great. I found a couple DPDT switches, from a Toyota, with 5 pins. I have power and ground wires ready to go to the switch.
What I don't understand, is how to wire the switch. With the switch, I can make it go up. If I reverse polarity, it goes down. The input to the motor has only two wires, of course. That leaves 3 pins available at the switch. I guess there are two 12+ supplies and one ground? Does anyone know which pins are which on the switch? There are 2 pins on either side of the switch, and a solitary one in the middle.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I figured out I never want to do that again. After much testing, I finally found a combination with the 5 wires to the switch that worked, and wrote up a schematic which I stashed somewhere safe. Now I can't find it!
